Free-form is addictive...big time. This is a flat piece that is being done on the embellishing machine. The backing is a piece of old felted blanket from the goodwill. Was in the dog blanket box.
As i crochet the other stuff i kept all the 'ends' that were snipped off at finish.......these are just the thing to use here and so keep the colors going thru.
the picture below is the beginning of this panel and this embellished piece goes on the right hand side

I have been having a lot of fun making sort of freeform stuff
The wall deco will eventually be as long as the rod and longer as it goes across.
i also plan for it to be right up to be placed the ceiling and across to the corner.

Well here i am on a very gray day.
After finding the page of the pattern i had misplaced the second sock was finished.
These socks are just 'off the needle' not blocked or pressed or anything...and obviously they are not a pair..LOL

Now i need to find a size to fit men's feet. These socks are 75% wool and will be $15 AU a pair.

The sweater i have bought the pattern and will make one of these to sell too.

We left here at 5.00am on Thursday and arrived back around 6.30pm on Friday.

What an eventful time we had.

On Thursday Robert locked the keys in the car....tried to get in but we eventually had to break a small window. you should have seen the faces of those around us......looks of horror etc.

I was laughing soooooooooooo much. Robert was embarrassed.

I told Robert that if it was going to be funny later then it is funny now.

he was sooooooooooooooooooooo embarrassed tho that he had done that.

My attitude is that if it is not life threatening it is not important.

Anyway we got outa there and after a while found somewhere to stay the night.

The motel was near a fish shop and I had calamari; scallops and prawns. Was cooked so well and I really enjoyed it.

After a terrible night of horrid dreams we were back at the hospital by 7.00am.

The staff were fantastic. The procedure was done......did not find what was expected so no stents.

Did put two patches on arteries that were leaking tho. Maybe that will help.

Rain fell most of the way home and today is cold and windy.

Well here is an update on the big quilt.

A lot of work but it is looking beautiful and i am pleased with it.

Margaret is over 80
Margaret knits.
Margaret knits quickly.
Here she is with a blanket I have laid out of the pieces she has knitted.
I am putting a fleece backing on and binding it.
Some applique teddies as well.
and it will be tied.

Then I put some blocks together that were sent from Rolander and friends.
Added a mermaid to one the other is for a boy who lost his home in the fire.
