I dipped into the archives for this pic of a frog quilt.

The year is almost done and my workroom is almost usable so the new year will bring pics of current work.

this has been a long break from active sewing for me and i am itching to be doing once more.

monday 22 december

today is cool again and a welcome relief after the heat of last week.

Managed to get the undercoat on the outside walls over the weekend and some tidy an re arranging of the work area.
I am feeling better and must watch not to overdo it.

I have been doing the hand quilted centers of this quilt..... a long way to go yet but you can see how it will look

has been awhile since the last update. i am getting ready to go for the first radiation treatment next friday.
my workroom is usable and after the big storm late yesterday i know it is solid too.
i have many projects that need to be finished and i shall be working on those in the coming months.
Need to get things finished off before i start any new ones.

It has been week's since I posted as i have been waiting for my net connection to be up and running.

I am here in my new home and trying to get things sorted out. This is easier said than done of course.

Here is a pic of my tub garden; just cool weather stuff at present tho as we have our winter here at this time.

I was packing up the machines and very carefully making sure that each machine had the cords and stuff with it as i went. Well i spent half an hour looking for the control pedal of the little deco and then realized it doesn't have one.

this year is really going by us.

but as i have made about 50 quilts for the children i guess i am doing OK.

having a break from the moving today and doing some sewing. A birthday present for a friend and binding two quilts for the childre

I cheated and di 20 of these dissapearing 9 patch. Some of the fabrics changed as I progressed and some had appliques added.

oh boy what a day.
there was a woman giving the message today in church and i could not hear a word she said.
i am not well either and the episode upset me. will be pleased when my new hearing aids arrive for sure.
no sewing at the moment as the moving is taking all of the energy i have. the cancer is taking its toll as far as energy goes.
i start accupuncture treatments the first week in July. Herbal medicine will be adjusted at that point as well.

Good morning well i did too much yesterday and paid for it. however some more stuff across to the store shed. Today will be just tidy and a little packing and i need to plan the center of a nesting robin quilt i have signed up to do.

also more work on a string quilt. . now that will be relaxing.

sunny day here today to move the main bulk of my gear to the storeshed.

Over the next couple of months I shall be working at making the most of the small space in the caravan/trailer and the 8x18 foot annexe.
i shall include pics as i go with this project.
I plan to build the bed up with storage underneath as one space saving solution. I am looking for other solutions at this time.

some more retro work

I did do another hand quilted motif on the double wedding ring yesterday.

I went out to a meeting of women held once a month about twenty minutes drive out of town.

this meeting is held in an old time country hall. Some do craft and some play cards we have a shared lunch and it is a day that i really look forward to each month.

Had intended to take my camera yesterday but left it sitting on the shelf.
