The embroidery guild is having an exhibition of embroideries of man made things from earlier days. While I was out on Saturday I took these pics as possibilities
The first is self explanitory; the second is an old silo and the third is an old school.

Last Saturday i took my elderly neighbour for a drive. We went to the coast and as it was a nice day i took these pics

FRIDAY 12

The seasons are starting to change...the nights are cooler and the heat is not coming in till later in the morning now.
Our winters are mild and I do enjoy that time of year.
The Lord has helped me this summer with sending someone to put the storm roof on my trailer.
This has made a big difference to the temperature inside...also allows the a/c to have a better chance to keep me cool.

This is the fractured CD embroidery.
Have unpicked the green in the center as I was not happy with it.

Will be a bag when finished.

Having trouble uploading images this morning.
This is the garden now.
The beans were blown over but I left them there.
The corn I stood up again and piled soil around the base.
Zucchini were only very small and suffered little damage.they are flowering now.

wednesday10th

This is one block of a quilt I started years ago.
Angels in my garden.
Have finally got to the sandwiching stage.
The quilt is for a very dear friend.
I guess no matter which side if the pond we live we are all looking forward to a change is seasons.
In a few weeks our weather will be getting cooler and I shall be able to get more machine sewing done....I hope.
Going to a sewing retreat in April and have to travel a fair way to get there. Two days driving.
Meeting women I have known on-line for years.
