Several women have asked about the twist pattern.
I googled 'garden twist' or just 'twist' in quilt patterns.
I first saw this pattern with cats and mice on it and have loved it ever since.
I am excited to be finally doing another quilt for myself.

Have found the jacobean patterns I wish to use and have bought some different threads to add to the floss that i have already.
Decided to do just leaves on the small squares tho.

another using machine embroidery that was made by my friend Joan.

this quilt goes out in the yard for teddy bear picnics ...it goes camping[in tents] used for a cubby etc...is then washed on the gentle cycle and the whole deal starts all over again.

hand appliqued and hand quilted

the background was hand painted.

i digitized the designs my self for this one

This version was done by my friend Marrilee.

This is the pattern i shall use for the quilt for me.

Blue and green on the 'twist' and navy in the squares with some bright jacobean embroideries.

will start this once the change over of trailers is compleated.

Joan was very creative in putting these blocks together. I then appliqued the ballon race which is not quite finished.
